Former US President Donald Trump and environmental activist Greta Thunberg are among the nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize this year.
Also the name of the World Health Organization (WHO) and its 'Kovacs' program and 'NATO' alliance. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has also been nominated, according to a Reuters survey of members of Norway's parliament.
Sunday was the last day for nominations to be submitted to the Nobel Committee. The names of the Nobel laureates will be announced in the first week of October.
