The results of the 40th BCS written test have been published. 10 thousand 964 people have passed it.
The results were published on the website of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) on Wednesday.
According to the authorities, the oral examination of this BCS will start on February 16.
In August 2018, PSC published the notification of 40th BCS. 4 lakh 12 thousand 532 candidates applied for it. 3 lakh 27 thousand candidates have given the test. 20 thousand 277 people passed the preliminary.
According to PSC sources, the results of this written test were to be released earlier. However, the difference between the marks given by the two examiners in about eight thousand books was more than 20 percent and the books were given to the third examiner for evaluation. That is why the results are delayed.
