Cricket Board of India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly, who was admitted to hospital with a heart attack, was due to be discharged on Wednesday. The doctors did not object to giving him a discharge. However, the BCCI president himself wanted to stay in the hospital for one more day.
The former cricketer, who is known as the Maharaja of West Bengal, will return home from the hospital on Thursday. On Wednesday, however, all arrangements were made for his return home. The news of his recovery was so crowded outside the hospital and home since Wednesday morning. Placards reading 'Comeback Dada' were seen in the hands of those young fans. However, some of them were disappointed that Saurabh did not return home.
It is also reported that Sourav wanted to face the media back home. However, he has been asked to rest completely. 15 doctors including Devi Sethi have given treatment and advice for her speedy recovery. Devi Sethi said, Sourav's heart condition is very good.
