Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has commented that reaction is now part of the BNP's political character.
He said people can no longer be fooled by spreading the poison of religion and communalism.
Obaidul Quader said this at a distribution ceremony of winter clothes organized by Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue on Thursday morning. He joined the ceremony virtually from his official residence.
Noting that the BNP is not standing by the people in danger, it is only throwing arrows of criticism, said the general secretary of the Awami League.
He said BNP is not pro-active, their politics is re-active.
Obaidul Quader said that the BNP leaders could only see destruction all around, they could not see any development and achievement of the government. Because in the eyes of BNP now the thick fog of winter has accumulated.
Commenting that the politics of the BNP is now foggy, the Awami League leader said, "It is a far cry to stand by the side of the cold-stricken people.
He said that even though the BNP talks about democracy, oppression and looting are hidden behind their masks.
Mentioning that BNP has started propaganda again about Corona vaccine, the Minister of Road Transport and Bridges said that it is part of their anti-politics to dispute and question any commendable initiative of the government dedicated to public welfare.
They are constantly playing the song of the false accusation of looting before the vaccination. We want to say, don't be confused by the rumors of BNP.
Obaidul Quader said, under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the work of collecting and administering vaccines will end with transparency and success InshaAllah.
Regarding the municipal elections, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said, the 3rd and 4th phase elections are ahead. Those who go against the boat and revolt and incite the people's representatives to revolt will be deprived of future nominations and important party posts.
Addressing the leaders of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League, Obaidul Quader said a conference should be held in every ward and police station as soon as possible. You have to learn from the past while going to the conference. The pocket committee cannot be done in any way, the sacrificial leaders of the party should be given a chance in the committee.
Later, the leaders distributed winter clothes among the helpless people.
