Runu Berunika Costa, a nurse at Kurmitola Hospital, was the first to receive the vaccine. In addition to Runu, Dr. Ahmed Lutful Moben, Additional Director General of the Health Department, Professor Nasima Sultana, Motijheel Division Officer Didarul Islam and Brigadier General M Imran Hamid were also vaccinated. In all, a total of 26 people from different walks of life were vaccinated at Kurmitola General Hospital.
