Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader wished the people a happy English New Year.
He made the remarks at a press conference at his official residence in the parliament building on Friday.
The bridge minister expressed hope that a prosperous Bangladesh would move forward with a new hope in the new year by returning the positive trend instead of the negative trend in the country's politics. The whole world that came to a halt in the Corona epidemic will get a new life in the new year through the release of Corona.
Obaidul Quader also expressed hope that in the new year, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, new buds of possibilities will blossom in the life of the individual, society and the state.
He said in the new year, various sectors will move forward in building a developed, prosperous Bangladesh by overcoming the crisis of corona on a new horizon of possibilities.
