The government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in 9 districts of the country to reshuffle the field administration. The order was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday.
The districts are Mymensingh, Comilla, Dinajpur, Kushtia, Habiganj, Rangamati, Jhenaidah, Jamalpur and Bhola.
Jamalpur DC Mohammad Enamul Haque to Mymensingh and Habiganj DC. Kamrul Hasan has been transferred as DC of Comilla. New officers have been appointed as DCs in seven other districts.
Khaled Mohammad Zaki, Deputy Secretary, Power Department, and Mohammad Saidul Islam, Program Executive and Coordinator, Strengthening Public Financial Management Program Service Delivery, Kushtia have been appointed DCs.
Ishrat Jahan, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Land, has been appointed as Habiganj and Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Deputy Secretary, Cabinet Division has been appointed as DC, Rangamati.
Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Youth and Sports. Mizanur Rahman to Jhenaidah, Mursheda Zaman, Joint Secretary of the Banking and Financial Institutions Department to Jamalpur and Md. Tawfiq-Ilahi-Chowdhury has been made DC of Bhola.
Comilla DC said. Abul Fazal Mir Deputy Secretary of the Security Services, Kushtia DC. Amlam Hossain Deputy Secretary of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications, Mymensingh DC. Mizanur Rahman has been transferred to the post of Deputy Secretary, Public Safety Department and Rangamati DC AKM Mamunur Rashid has been transferred to the post of Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Food.
Jhenaidah DC Saroj Kumar Nath, Bhola DC Mohammad Masud Alam Siddique and Dinajpur DC Md. The government has transferred Mahmudul Alam to the post of Deputy Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education.
