A legal notice has been sent to the government concerned to close all educational institutions in the country till the epidemic coronavirus is eradicated.
Supreme Court lawyer Khandaker Hasan Shahriar sent the notice to six people, including the secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, on Thursday. Reported.
At the same time, within seven days of receiving the notice, the decision to reopen the educational institution has been canceled and it has been requested to publish and publicize the notification. Otherwise, a writ petition will be filed in the High Court seeking redressal in this regard. Earlier, a legal notice was sent to the government on January 11 to immediately reopen all schools and colleges across the country. Supreme Court lawyer Farooq Alamgir Chowdhury sent the notice on behalf of Bhawal Mirzapur Public School and College Principal Abdul Qayyum Sarkar.
The notice was sent to the concerned including the Secretary of the Ministry of Education and the Director General of the Department of Education. After that, the educational institutions were declared closed till January 30.
