Farmers have been protesting on the Delhi border for almost two months demanding repeal of three agricultural laws. Farmers' organizations have warned that it will continue until the demand is met.
A bench of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court has ruled that permission should be sought from the New Delhi Police Commissioner so that farmers can protest at Ramlila Maidan without protesting at the Delhi border.
Regarding the formation of the committee, the court said that the decision to form the committee is a judicial process. This can lead to a clear idea about the whole thing.
