In the first phase, 96,000 doses of the vaccine have reached Dinajpur. The covered van carrying the corona vaccine arrived at the Dinajpur Civil Surgeon's Office at 11:30 am on Sunday.

Dinajpur Civil Surgeon. Md. Abdul Quddus said the corona vaccine (covid vaccine) is a witness to history. The 96,000 doses of corona vaccine received were stored in the cold store of the EPI Center of the Dinajpur District Civil Surgeon's Office.
He added that all preparations for vaccination have already been completed in the district. Vaccination activities will be officially inaugurated in the district on February 7. In the first phase, the vaccine will be given to Corona fighters. Physicians, vaccinators and volunteers have been prepared for the training as per the instructions of the district health department.
The civil surgeon said the vaccine would be given at 13 upazila health complexes in the district, including Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital and the 250-bed Dinajpur General Hospital. Training of doctors, vaccinators and volunteers for vaccination has been completed. In the meantime, 8 teams have been formed in Dinajpur General Hospital, 4 in Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital and 38 teams have been formed in each of the Upazila Health Complexes. Each team has two vaccinators and four volunteers.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Abdul Quddus said that one has to register online to get the vaccine. After completing the registration, you will be informed when and where the vaccine will be given through mobile message.
