A South Korean city has announced financial aid to encourage couples to have children.

If the couple has at least 3 children in Bangladeshi currency, more than Rs 85 lakh will be given to the parents.

The reason for this initiative is that the population of that city is decreasing day by day. In an effort to combat the dwindling population, the South Korean city introduced a new policy for parents to become residents. The decision was made because the birth rate in South Korea was lower than the death rate. In 2020, 275,815 people were born and 307,764 died in South Korea.
