The upcoming SSC examinees have organized a human chain in the capital demanding autopass by evaluating the results of previous PSC and JSC without taking the exam.
Today, in front of the National Press Club, more than 50 students from different schools of the capital, SSC and equivalent of 2020-21 academic year took part in it.
They made three demands including autopass.
The demands are-
1. Taking special measures in the middle of the corona, we do not want to sit the test. This will make our results worse;
2. With session jitters we don’t want to test at corona risk;
3. Promotion should be given to SSC by evaluating the results of PSC and JSC examinations in alternative method without taking examination.
Students in Manobbandhan said, our school activities in Corona have been closed for about 11 months today. Extensive stagnation has been created in studies. However, the Minister of Education has announced that we will have a three-month class before the examination and take the SSC examination, which we think is completely inhumane.
Because we have already lost a year in the epidemic. Now if it takes three months before the exam, three months during the exam and another three months to give the result, our batch (2020-21 academic year) will be severely damaged. We don't want to read this session. Let us be given auto promotion as per the result of PSC and JSC.
