Five people have been killed in a fire at the Seram Institute, an Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine manufacturer in India. The fire broke out this afternoon.
However, the vaccine production was not affected, the company's officials said.
According to Indian media, efforts are being made to control the fire at the world's largest vaccine manufacturer in Pune.
After the fire broke out, black smoke spread in the area adjacent to the institute. Firefighters rushed to the scene and put out the blaze.
