He made the demand at a prayer mahfil organized by Dhaka Metropolitan North Jatiya Party in Banani on Friday afternoon seeking the recovery of party chairman GM Quader. Expressing displeasure over the ongoing local government elections in the country, Ziauddin Bablu added,

There has been anarchy, violence, vote rigging and loss of life in the elections. Criticizing the recent elections, he demanded the formation of a strong independent election commission. Otherwise, arrange the autopash of HSC in the same way as it has been arranged without taking the exam, without damaging the life and property in the election.
