It has been demanded that 10 Rohingyas be detained from Rajdhani Express train at New Jalpaiguri station in West Bengal, India. They were arrested on Tuesday, a West Bengal Railway official said.

A spokesman for India's North-East Frontier Railway said the train superintendent spotted them while checking tickets for the Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express from Agartala. He then reported the matter to the railway police. They were detained when the train reached New Jalpaiguri at 1.30 pm on Tuesday.
He added that all the detainees have been handed over to the New Jalpaiguri GRP to take appropriate legal action.
According to the Indian Express, the 10 escaped from the Kutupalong camp in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh on January 10. They then boarded the train from Comilla in Bangladesh to Sonamura in Tripura on January 11 with the help of a broker.
