At least 80,000 teaching posts have become vacant in the last one year in private schools, colleges, madrasas and technical institutes of the country. These posts are vacant due to retirement and death of teachers. However, the Private Teacher Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) could not recruit new teachers.

The heads of the educational institutions say that there is no problem with the vacant posts as the educational institutions are closed due to corona. However, after the opening of the educational institution, if the classes start in full swing, the academic activities will stumble due to the teacher crisis.

In this situation, the NTRCA authorities said, if the court's ban is lifted, a public notification will be issued soon asking for an application to appoint a private teacher.

The newly appointed chairman of NTRCA told Samakal on mobile phone on Sunday. Ashraf Uddin.

I am new to the post," he said. It would not be appropriate to talk about it now. However, we will work towards the goal of resolving the recruitment complexities quickly.

Earlier, on December 15, the High Court imposed a one-month ban on recruitment in private educational institutions. The ban will expire on January 15.

NTRCA authorities have issued recruitment orders in private schools, colleges, madrasas and technical educational institutions across the country. However, due to various complications, the government institution is not able to publish the public announcement of teacher recruitment.
