Another new strain of coronavirus has been identified in the bodies of four people traveling from the Amazon state of Brazil to Japan. It differs from the species found in the United Kingdom and South Africa.

Takaji Wakita, head of the country's National Institute of Infectious Diseases, said the new strain of corona differs from those identified in the United Kingdom and South Africa. He could not immediately be reached for comment.
