The Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine manufacturer Seram Institute in Pune, India has caught fire again. The fire broke out for the second time in a few hours. The fire service quickly brought the fire under control.

According to Indian media sources, the fire broke out at the Seram vaccine factory in Manjari area of Pune around 3pm on Thursday. The fire spread quickly to the fourth and fifth floors of the SEZ23 building adjacent to Terminal 1.
According to the latest information received by the Indian media, the fire service has rescued a total of 9 people including 5 bodies from the spot. The building of Serem has been vacated. It is being investigated whether anyone is trapped inside.
