An actress named Asha Chowdhury (22) died in a road accident at the technical corner of the capital. The accident happened late Monday night.
Police recovered his body and sent it to Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Darussalam police sub-inspector (SI) said. Sohan Ahmed said Asha was killed on the spot when she was hit by a truck at a technical intersection between one and two in the night. Upon receiving the news, the police recovered his body.
He said, Asha's father's name is Abul Kalam. Asha was studying in the sixth semester of the law department at a private university. Attempts are being made to identify which truck was hit, said SI. Sohan Ahmed.
Meanwhile, actor Anisur Rahman Milon posted two pictures with Asha Chowdhury on Facebook and wrote, 'My work started in 2021 was on 1st and 2nd. Where this girl named Asha Chowdhury has acted. That means we worked together two days ago. I pray for the forgiveness of his soul.
