Anger against President Donald Trump is growing for inciting deadly violence in the US Parliament building. Fifty-seven percent of Republicans want the removal of President Donald Trump before his term expires.
The data came from a survey conducted by the British news agency Reuters and the survey firm Ipsos. However, a poll conducted on Thursday and Friday found that seven out of ten people who voted for Trump last November were strongly opposed to violent Trump supporters in the House of Representatives.
But not all of them are in favor of removing Trump right now. President-elect Joe Biden will officially take the chair of the US presidency in just two weeks. But the possibility of Trump being removed before the Capitol attacks on Wednesday cannot be ruled out.
Violent Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building that day. Police opened fire to disperse the protesters. Five people, including a policeman, were killed in the incident. The attack is believed to have been instigated by Trump. Both Democrats and Republicans have condemned the Capitol violence.
In this case, the Democrats can start the process of impeachment of Trump for misconduct. Some Republican leaders also think that the 25th amendment to the constitution should be implemented and removed.
