RAB has arrested two drug dealers in Comilla while smuggling yaba in their stomachs. Two thousand 630 pieces of yaba were seized from them at that time.
The arrested are Jamil Hossain of Satkuri village under Hakimpur police station of Dinajpur and Azizur Rahman of Nightingara village of Teknaf police station of Kopbazar. The RAB said this in a press release on Thursday.
Comilla RAB-11, CPC-2 Company Commander Major Talukder Nazmush Shakib said, RAB conducted a special operation in Amtali area of Comilla Sadar on Chittagong-Dhaka highway on Thursday morning. The two suspects were arrested at the time. Later, RAB confirmed the presence of Yaba tablets in their stomachs by taking them to the hospital through ap-ray examination. The drug traffickers then took out 54 capsules of scotch tape-wrapped yaba from their stomachs in a special way.
RAB captain Nazmush Shakib further said that during the preliminary interrogation, they had confessed that they had been trading and supplying various drugs including yaba in different parts of the country including Comilla.
