Police have arrested UP member Alal Uddin and one of his associates with cannabis at Lalpur in Natore.
They were arrested with cannabis from Satpukur area of the upazila on Wednesday night.
Alal Uddin is a UP member of Ward No. 3 of Kadimchilan Union. He is the son of Mosharraf Hossain of Sekchilan village. And his colleague Raju is the son of Taju Hossain of the same area.
Lalpur Police Station OC Selim Reza said they raided the Satpukur area of the upazila and searched the bodies of UP member Alal Uddin and his accomplice Raju and arrested them along with cannabis.
He said a case has been filed against the detainees at Lalpur police station.
