The issue of further facilitation of UAE visas for Bangladeshis has also been discussed.

The Minister further said that the Bangabandhu Industrial City being set up at Mirsarai in Chittagong, the UAE has already asked for space for an economic zone there. They have been requested to invest more in Bangladesh. In his constituency of Rangunia, more than 100 acres have been allotted in honor of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the UAE. We also discussed what other facilities could be built there, including a maternity hospital and a nursing training center, a food processing plant.
