The World Health Organization (WHO) says new strains of the rapidly spreading coronavirus are still out of control. The company believes that it can be controlled by applying existing measures.
Michael Ryan, the WHO's head of emergency services, told a news conference on Monday that "we have found a point in the rapid spread of this type of epidemic." But I got it under control.
So this situation is not out of control in that sense. But it cannot be left to its own devices.
Earlier, British Health Secretary Matt Hancock claimed the new version of the virus was "out of control". When British officials said the strain was 70 percent more contagious than the original strain.
Ryan said the steps currently being taken to deal with this type of action are the right step.
We need to do what we're doing," he said. We just have to be more conscious. And only then will we be able to bring this virus under control.
About 30 countries have closed their borders to travel to Britain and South Africa to prevent the spread of the virus. A state of emergency has been declared in the two countries as the new virus spreads.
Analyzing some of the ideas about the virus, we have to work harder," Ryan said. Even if it becomes a little more efficient in the case of the virus, Covid-19 can be stopped.
