According to the custom, on the third day of the wedding, they organized a wedding on Wednesday.
Rafiqul had been feeling some fever and stomach ache since Tuesday night. He was admitted to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barisal on the morning of the ceremony. He died at around 3 pm while undergoing treatment there. News of his sudden death has cast a shadow of mourning over the area. His janaza was held at the place where the pandal was arranged for the occasion.
Meanwhile, the bride immediately lost consciousness after hearing the news of her husband's untimely death. He was admitted to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital. He is currently well.
When Rafiqul's body was brought home from the hospital in the afternoon, tears flowed. Monirul Islam Talukder, chairman of Madhabkhali Union Parishad, who took part in the janaza, said the invitation was from Bouvat. But the janaza was to be read there. No one can accept such a death.
Rafiqul's uncle Ansar Uddin said that one and a half hundred people were present at the event. The cooking is over, the news of Rafiqul's death comes during the service. Ansar Uddin said the food cooked for the guests was then distributed among the students of the local madrasa.
