He made the remarks at a meeting of the National Task Force on Coronavirus on Saturday. A few days ago, Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Uzma Khamenei, called on the Iranian people and government officials to rescind US sanctions.
President Rouhani said, “The Supreme Leader has called for the US sanctions to be revoked; We are not only running that effort on an hourly basis but also running that effort at every moment. As part of this, efforts are being made to import goods from different countries of the world and export them to different countries.
During today's meeting, President Rouhani said that Iran is trying to develop a vaccine to fight the coronavirus internally, while also trying to buy a vaccine from abroad. President Rouhani insisted that the people of his country would not be allowed to test any country's unreliable vaccine.
