As the government of Oman has lifted the ban, the flight of Bangladesh Biman to Muscat is going to resume from the night of December 29. This information was given in a press release signed by Tahera Khandaker, Deputy General Manager (Public Relations) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Sunday.

Passengers on canceled flights are being requested to contact the nearest Biman sales office, the press release said. Seats will be allocated on the basis of their priority subject to vacancies on the flight.

All flights to Muscat were canceled on December 22 due to a one-week ban by the Oman government due to coronavirus. During the epidemic, Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated two flights a week from Dhaka to Muscat and two from Chittagong.

On the morning of December 22, a flight with 63 passengers from Chittagong was scheduled to leave for Muscat, but it was canceled.
