The district BNP has staged a protest rally in Brahmanbaria demanding re-election. The program was held on Wednesday afternoon as part of the central program, marking December 30 as Democracy Killing Day.
On this occasion, after noon, the leaders and activists of the district BNP and its affiliates came in procession from different neighborhoods to the college area of the city and when they wanted to protest, the police prevented them. The demonstration was held at the police barricade.
Former district BNP president Hafizur Rahman Mollah Kachi and former district BNP general secretary Zahirul Haque Khokon and former organizing secretary Sirajul Islam Siraj addressed the rally.
