Testimony has started against Perth Gopal Banik, Deputy Inspector General (DIG Prisons) of Sylhet Central Jail, who was sacked in a case filed under the Bribery and Money Laundering Act.

Dhaka's Special Judge's Court Judge Mohammad Nazrul Islam on Tuesday, the plaintiff in the case of the ACC Deputy Director. Saladin testified as a witness.

As the day did not end, the court fixed January 18 and 19 for the remaining statements and cross-examination. On November 4, the same court rejected the plea of ​​the accused and ordered the formation of charges.

Perth Gopal was arrested on July 28 last year. On the same day, 80 lakh was recovered from his house on Green Road. The next day he was sent to jail from the court. On August 24, the investigating officer of the case filed a chargesheet against DIG Perth in the court.
