Extremist terrorists have attacked Russian troops in the war-torn region of Syria's northeastern Idlib province. Tank destroyers were used in the attack. Rear Admiral Vyacheslav Sitnik, the chief coordinator of Russian forces in Syria, said the attack came after troops on Tuesday afternoon. At the time, Russian troops were patrolling the town of Trumba in the war-torn region of Idlib.

Sitnik said anti-tank guided missiles were fired at a Russian military armored vehicle from an area controlled by pro-Turkish terrorists. Three Russian soldiers were slightly injured and no one was in critical condition.

The Russian military says Russian military command is investigating the attack in cooperation with the Turkish military and Syrian intelligence. Russia has deployed troops in Syria at the official request of the Damascus government, and with the effective cooperation of Russian troops, much of Syria has been liberated. The Russian Air Force has been playing a key role in the fight to liberate Syria from terrorists.
