Romana Yasmin, 30, an Ansar officer of the 37th BCS, committed suicide by hanging herself at her home in Azimpur Staff Quarters under Lalbagh Police Station in the capital. He was taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in an unconscious state after being strangled on Friday night. Later, the doctor on duty declared him dead around 11:30 pm.
Nusrat Yasmin, sister of the deceased, said the doctor declared her dead after rescuing her unconscious and taking her to Dhaka Medical College. We cannot say anything about this death. I can't say why he was hanged.
He further said that the daughter of Mohammad Nurunnabi of Kahalu upazila of Bogra district, the home of the village, was currently living in Azimpur staff quarters. DMEC hospital police camp in-charge (inspector) said. Bachchu Mia confirmed the death and said that the body has been kept in the morgue of the hospital for autopsy.
The matter has been informed to the concerned police station.
