Mild cold wave continues in the northern district of Panchagarh. The Tentulia Meteorological Office recorded a minimum temperature of 8 degrees 4 degrees Celsius in the district on Friday morning. The minimum temperature on Thursday was 8.8 degrees Celsius.

Last Friday (December 18) the minimum temperature was recorded at 9 degrees Celsius. Since then, the temperature has been fluctuating between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius. For 8 days in a row, mild and moderate cold spells have brought misery to public life. The incidence of cold-related diseases including cold, cough, diarrhea and pneumonia has increased among children and the elderly in various health centers including Sadar Hospital. Especially the daily income of the working people has decreased.

However, as in the last few days, with the increase in the number of people on Friday, the number of people has increased everywhere, including the district town. Although the temperature has risen due to the sun, it has been feeling cold in Kankan since the afternoon due to the north wind. And in the afternoon the cold started.

The condition where the minimum temperature is between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius is called mild cold. The minimum temperature was recorded at 8.4 degrees Celsius at 9 am on Friday.
