South Korea has chased 19 Russian and Chinese military warplanes as it entered the country's airspace. The country claimed this on Tuesday. South Korea's foreign ministry contacted China and Russia and warned that they should not repeat such incidents.

According to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), four Chinese warplanes entered the Korean Air Defense Identification Zone (KDIZ). And there were 15 Russian planes. Russian planes were following Chinese planes.

The South Korean military then ordered the country's air force fighters to take strategic action.

The South Korean military, meanwhile, said the Chinese military had informed South Korea that the warplanes were engaged in regular training. They left before entering the (Korea) Air Defense Identification Zone.

However, JCS said that in this case, it seems that China and Russia were holding a joint exercise. However it needs further analysis.
