In this context, General Secretary of the Film Producers and Distributors Association, Shamsul Alam, said, "According to the rules of our association, the husband / wife and children of a producer can get membership as a producer for only Tk 11,000." A few days ago, when an administrator was appointed in the association, Apu Biswas took the opportunity to use Shakib Khan's name as her husband in the application form. But we know that Apu Biswas is not Shakib Khan's wife now. They divorced more than two years ago. Later, when we re-assumed responsibility, we suspended his membership. Shakib's name was dropped and he applied again with full money and was given membership. Shakib Khan and Apu Biswas got divorced on March 12, 2018.
