Popular actor Abdul Quader is no more.
He died at 8:20 am on Saturday while undergoing treatment at the Evercare Hospital in the capital (Innalillahi wa inna ilahi rajiun).
Chief Medical Officer of the hospital Arif Mahmud confirmed the information to Bangladesh Pratidin.
This popular actor of the country was suffering from cancer for a long time. The cancer spread to other parts of the body. He was rushed to Christian Medical College Hospital in Vellore, Chennai, India on December 8.
From there he was brought back to the country on the evening of December 20. He was then taken directly from the airport to the capital's Evercare Hospital.
The results of his Covid-19 test came positive on Monday evening. From then on, Abdul Quader was admitted in the Corona unit of Evercare.
