The government said in a statement that even if all international flights were closed, much-needed flights would resume during this period under special circumstances. The ban will not apply to people who are not residents of Saudi Arabia.
Arab News says those who enter Saudi Arabia from high-risk countries in Europe or the Corona after December 8 will have to stay in quarantine for two weeks.
Anyone who has entered Saudi from any European country or this route in the last three months will have to undergo a coronary test. The authorities will take the next decision subject to consideration of the Corona situation.
