Famous drama personality Mannan Hira is no more. He (Inna ... Rajyun) died of a heart attack at the Islami Bank Central Hospital in the capital around 8:30 pm on Wednesday. He was 63 years old.

As a playwright, Mannan Hira is a prominent name in the history of drama in Bangladesh. He was associated with the path drama movement for a long time. Mannan Hira has written about 15 plays. His notable plays include: Red Text, Divided Man, Peacock Throne, Black and White. Mannan Hira is one of the street plays written and directed by a fool.

Apart from composing plays, he also directed some important plays. In 2014, he made Khudiram, a children's film Ekattar, with a government grant. This is the first film he has directed. He also directed two short films called 'Hot Rice Story' and '71's Color Pencil '. He won the Bangla Academy Award in 2006 for his play.
