A year-long digital citizen literacy campaign and training program is also being launched in Bangladesh to make netizens responsible for using the internet.
Entitled 'We Think Digital', Facebook's global learning program, the A2I project of the ICT department will be implemented in Bangladesh. The joint partners are the Ministry of Education and the Cabinet Division.
State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak announced the program on his Facebook page and online on Wednesday night. At the same time, the state minister wants the help of Facebook against the reactionaries as well as gaining the power to analyze keywords on social media.
Deputy Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury was also present at the inaugural function. He called for the inclusion of the use of social media in the curriculum.
