He said Jordan will take 12,000 skilled garment workers from Bangladesh in the next one year. Workers will be recruited only through the government recruiting agency Boesel. The foreign minister also said that the recruiting delegation would visit Bangladesh soon.

Jordan, a country in the Middle East, has about 70,000 Bangladeshi workers, 45,000 of whom work in garment factories. Classic Fashions Apparels Limited, the country's largest garment factory, employs about 15,000 skilled Bangladeshi garment workers.
