According to local news reports, 25-year-old health worker Claudia Alvernini received the first vaccine. The vaccine was then given to 77-year-old Maria Rosaria Kapobianki, director of the hospital's virology laboratory.
Four female and one male health worker were taken in isolation after receiving the vaccine. During the difficult times in the country, this team of five people performed their duties with great skill and courage at the Spallanjani Hospital.
