Armored Battalion (APBN) police arrested five Rohingya drug traffickers, including Yaba, in a raid at the Jadimura Rohingya camp in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar. They were detained along with yaba from Block B of Jadimura Refugee Camp in Hnila Union of the upazila on Monday (December 28) afternoon.

The detainees are: Md. Sadeq (20) son of Shafiullah, resident of Block B of Hnila UP Jadimura Refugee Camp, Md. Syed Salam (20) son of deceased Ibrahim, Md. Kamal (26) son of Mohammad Noor, Shamsu Alam (28) son of Lal Mia and deceased. Son Mohammad Ali (26). All the detainees are residents of the same camp and block.

This information was confirmed on Monday night by the Commander (SP) of the 16th Armored Battalion (APBN) Md. Tariqul Islam Tariq. He said that on Monday afternoon, a joint force led by Saiful Islam, a sub-inspector of APBN police on duty at Jadimura Rohingya camp in Hnila Union, raided the house of Malek, a resident of Block B Sector 7, Jadimura Refugee Camp No. 27. He added that a case has been filed against the detainees along with the recovered yaba and handed over to Teknaf Model Police Station.
