Hefazat-e-Islam's Amir Allama Junaid Babungari said the case filed against Allama Shafi for murder was a political conspiracy. This case is nothing but a vile conspiracy to destroy the peaceful environment and harass the leaders of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh. The false case filed immediately should be withdrawn. Otherwise, I will be forced to take strict action in consultation with the top ulama of the country. He said this at a press conference held at the central office of Hifazat-e-Islam at Chittagong Hathazari Madrasa at 11:30 am on Wednesday.
Junaid Babungari said the death of Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi was normal. His family and madrasa authorities clearly informed the countrymen about the natural death. Long ago, Allama Shafi's physical condition was so fragile that rumors of his death had spread several times.
So, those who have filed a case alleging the murder of Allama Ahmad Shafi are an identified brokerage group. They are rejected by the Alem Samaj and the conscious Tawhidi people of the country. We believe that the reasons given for the so-called murder in the case are full of exaggeration and lies and politically motivated. He died a natural death by the will of God. The brokers could not present any medical report that he was killed. But we notice that Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi Rah. An insidious mahal is conspiring and lying about its natural death. Three months after the death of the Prophet, the insidious mahal also filed a false case calling his death unusual. None of those who have been accused in the filed case and those who have been accused in the details are involved in it. So to file charges against them is a completely false conspiracy and motive. He said that even during the lifetime of Allama Ahmad Shafi, he was seen being held hostage to achieve vested interests. They took him hostage and carried out one corruption and lawlessness after another, disputing and questioning his skyrocketing popularity. Allama Shah Ahmad held Shafi hostage and established individualism in Hathazari Madrasa. There, various irregularities and continuous harassment and torture of students made their lives miserable. In addition, a number of well-known teachers were unjustly fired from the madrasas, which was extremely humiliating. Unsatisfied with their irregularities and constant harassment, the students of Hathazari Madrasa were forced to join the movement with their demands against tyranny.
