The Dhaka University authorities have decided to conduct the Honors and Masters examinations from December 26 to deal with the session jam caused by the Corona situation. For this, they have decided to take the Honors final year and Masters examinations while maintaining hygiene and social distance on priority basis. In addition, these tests will be held at half time and at short intervals.

Thursday night, Vice-Chancellor Prof. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Virtually Academic Council chaired by Akhtaruzzaman. This information was given in a notification of the public relations department of the university.

It is said in the notification, considering the situation arising from Kavid-19, the following decision was taken to resolve the session jam of the students- 1. As it is not possible to provide residential facilities to the students in the existing situation, the concerned department or institute will conduct various examinations by ensuring communication and attendance with the respective students. 2. Students' in-course / midterm / tutorial exams will be taken in online assignment, oral, take home method and 3. On a priority basis, the Honors final year and Masters examinations will be held from December 26, maintaining hygiene and social distance.

The meeting was attended by Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Muhammad Samad, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof. ASM Maqsood Kamal, Deans of different faculties, Chairmen of different departments, directors of various institutes and members of the Academic Council.

Due to the corona outbreak, the educational activities of the university have been closed since March 19 this year.
