A case was filed against Nurul Haque Nur, a former VP of Daksh and founder of the Student Rights Protection Council, in the Brahmanbaria Judicial Court on Sunday afternoon.
District BCL president Rabiul Hossain Rubel filed the case in the first court of Brahmanbaria Senior Judicial Magistrate. District BCL general secretary Shahadat Hossain Shovon and six BCL leaders and activists have been made witnesses in the case.
According to the statement in the case, at 8 pm on the day of the Great Victory Day on December 16, Nur published an offensive, misleading, false, intimidating data about the government and various government institutions from his Facebook ID. He has tried to create an unstable environment in the country through riot facades and has ruined the reputation of the plaintiffs with false information.
Plaintiff's lawyer Ekram Hossain Dalim said Brahmanbaria's senior judicial magistrate Ayesha Begum would hear the case. We are waiting for the hearing.
