The heroic freedom fighters of Sarail Upazila have announced to boycott all the programs of Umme Fatema Nazma Begum alias Shiuli Azad, Member of Parliament for the reserved women's seat of Brahmanbaria and Joint Convener of the Convening Committee of the Upazila Awami League. The freedom fighters made the announcement claiming that the MP whose name was proposed by the MP as a member of the freedom fighter verification and selection committee was not a freedom fighter. However, the MP claimed that not all the freedom fighters of the upazila were present, but some freedom fighters were present, including some of her husband's killers.
The freedom fighters made the announcement at an introductory meeting with newcomer UNO Ariful Haque Mridul at the Upazila Parishad auditorium organized by the Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad on Saturday noon. They have also opposed the new verification and selection process from the same meeting.

The heroic freedom fighters said angrily that many freedom fighters have been listed as freedom fighters through various techniques. Today, they are being included in the list of real freedom fighters. This is extremely insulting and humiliating for us. In our last days, we have been thinking in the name of verification and selection. Razakar's successors are entering the government today. These are the ones who are conspiring to bring the government into disarray. I took a bullet in my chest in '71. Not defeated. I will not be defeated by the Razakars yet.
The freedom fighters said that the Member of Parliament Saraile, whose name was proposed as a member of the selection committee, was a freedom fighter and a relative of Taher Uddin Tagore, the murderer of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He was included in the list of freedom fighters a few days ago. We can't accept him. They also said that at one of the events in Sarail, the MP did not dress some freedom fighters. But recently he gave a reception to the Amir of Jamaat in a program in Ashuganj.
In this regard, Umme Fatema Nazma Begum alias Shiuli Azad, Member of Parliament for the reserved women's seat, said that not all the heroic freedom fighters were present at the meeting. A few were present, who were involved in my husband's murder.
