RAB-1 has arrested a man named Delwar Hossain (60) along with 70 bottles of foreign fencidil in a raid in Goalbathan area of Kaliakair upazila of Gazipur. Delwar is the son of late Nurul Islam of Chakrampur area of Kotwali police station in Dinajpur district.
According to the operation sources, on the basis of secret information that drug dealers were buying and selling drugs in Goalbathan area of Kaliakair upazila last night, the company commander of the expedition camp camp Lt. Commander Abdullah Al Mamun led the immediate operation. Delwar Hossain was arrested and 70 bottles of Fencidil, Taka 6,500 in cash and a mobile phone were recovered.
RAB-1 specialized company Porabari Camp Lt. Commander Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the matter.
