Another Bangladeshi was killed at the border by a deadly bullet fired by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF). The incident took place at No Man's Land on the Gobrakura border in Mymensingh's Haluaghat upazila around 10pm on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Khairul Islam, 48. His home is in Gobrakura village.
According to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and local sources, a BSF patrol team shot at Khairul at Gachhuapara in Tura district of Meghalaya state on the Gobrakura border last night. He was later rescued from the spot and taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for treatment. He died at night.
