The aggrieved women have staged a sit-in on the road at Domar in Nilphamari demanding return of the money deposited in the cooperative society. They staged a procession on Saturday afternoon after holding an hour-long program in the railway area of ​​Domar-Debiganj road.

The victims, Parul Begum, Cefali Akhter and Umme Habiba, said that if they deposited taka 80,000 in the cooperative society, they would give them a motorcycle after three days and return the money after 15 days. In this way, an organization called Consumer Cooperative Society gives various benefits to a few people. In just one and a half months, over a thousand members are added to the association.

Marufa Akhter, Shirina Begum and a few others said, "We sell cows and goats and deposit money in the association." Association officials fled with our money.

Domar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mostafizur Rahman said, "At the beginning of the association, we forbade women members to invest money there." They did not listen to us. No one is complaining at the police station. If a complaint is received, legal action will be taken immediately.

Domar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahina Shabnam said they had taken a registration from the cooperative society. I called some of the protesters. I will listen to how they want a solution.
