In a separate operation in Comilla, RAB arrested three drug dealers including Phensidyl, Yaba and foreign liquor. At that time, 200 bottles of Phensidyl, 395 pieces of Yaba and one bottle of foreign liquor were recovered from them. A motorcycle used for transporting drugs was also seized.
The arrested are Bayezit Bostami, son of Abul Kashem of Kuriapara village in Sadar Dakshin upazila, Abu Taleb, son of Abdul Malek of Anandapur village in Sadar upazila and Hasan, son of late Ibrahim Miah of the same village.
RAB-11, CPC-2 Comilla Company Commander Major Talukder Nazmush Shakib said this in a press release on Monday afternoon.
He said they conducted a special operation in Kotbari Bishbrod area of Sadar Dakshin Upazila late on Sunday night and arrested drug dealer Bayjit Bostami while he was buying and selling phencidyl. At the same time, another team conducted a special operation in Baradighi Par area of Sreepur village in Sadar upazila and arrested two others along with 395 pieces of yaba tablets and foreign liquor.
